Kasba Ganpati im Überblick
Jijabai, Shivaji's mother, is credited with building the Kasba Ganpati temple around 1630. Its Ganesh is the city's presiding deity, the gramdevata, and leads the immersion procession at the end of the Ganeshotsav festival each year.
