Vishram Ghat en bref

By tradition, Krishna rested at Vishram Ghat after killing the tyrant Kansa, and it is the heart of Mathura's pilgrim circuit along the Yamuna.

Small shrines line the steps, boats wait for passengers, and lamps are floated on the river at the evening aarti.
