About Mahatma Phule Mandai

Built in 1882–86 in Gothic style and first named Reay Market, the Mandai was renamed after the social reformer Mahatma Jyotirao Phule in 1938. Around 500 stalls sell fruit, vegetables, flowers and spices around its octagonal tower, about 80 feet high.

Know before you go
