About Park Güell
Gaudí turned a failed housing estate into a fantasy park: the serpentine mosaic bench, the trencadís dragon and gingerbread lodges, all looking out over the whole city to the Mediterranean.
Know before you go
- Timed entry to the Monumental Zone — arrive within your slot
- It's a steep uphill walk from the metro
- Bring water and sun protection — little shade up top
- The wider park is free; only the mosaic zone is ticketed
