About Musée Rodin
Rodin rented rooms in the Hôtel Biron from 1908 and left his work to the state on condition it became a museum, which opened in 1919. Inside are The Kiss in marble, studies for Balzac and a room of works by Camille Claudel.
Outside, The Thinker sits among rose beds, The Burghers of Calais stand together, and The Gates of Hell fill a wall. The garden, with its café, is one of the calmest spots in the 7th arrondissement.
